In this module i took in Year 2, we had to expand from previous textile swatches we made that followed certain themes. In the final assignment, we had to make a headpiece from the swatches made.

SERENE HUES OF MONET
Embracing the ethereal and delicate quality of Claude Monet’s pieces, I want to capture the dreamlike essence of his works through a soft pastel palette while having a vintage scrapbook feel towards it. Highlighting the aesthetic that evokes fleeting beauty, serenity, and nature. I want my works to remind us of our lives peacefulness and quiet beauty. It invites us to slow down and appreciate the small moments of tranquility in our everyday lives and see the beauty of nature and light.
