This is a module we did in Year 2 called Studio Project 2. We had to form into groups to brainstorm a collaboration between a fashion and non-fashion brand/designer. From this collaboration, we then continued to expand into our individual designs and concepts.

MOODBOARD
I wanted to capture the delicate tension between struggle and renewal in my moodboard. The drapery to represent emotional fluidity , organic structures and textures to represent the raw process of change and lastly, layers of translucency to represent the unseen struggles within.
I chose to go with a more neutral, muted earthy palette to show the transition between lightness and heaviness

My final garment features a panelled bell sleeve top that is fully lined and a gored skirt with a front drape, and bustel at the back. The top has a side seam invisible zip and a shoulder invisible zip. The skirt bustel and front drape are all detachable with a snap button.The gored skirt features a side seam zipper with a overlapping waistband secured by hook and eye. I managed to incoorporate sustainable techniques in the manipulations of my top and skirt. I tried different methods and techniques like dyeing,fraying,nuno felting and burning
